MALBEC tango trío se formó inicialmente como un dúo de guitarra, voz (Adrián Gonzalez Navarro) y bandoneón (Maximiliano Carrasco) en el año 2008. Con esta formación realizaron muchos shows en vivo, en lugares emblemáticos de la escena tanguera porteña.
